The year was 1984, the video game industry was in a free-fall. Many systems met their demise that year and on this week's episode of The Retro League podcast we're focusing on the Atari 5200's death. Despite its short life it had some memorable games and we're looking at a couple of them. We also talk about Gremlins 2 way more than anyone should.

We're either 2 days late for Halloween or 363 days early depending on how you look at it. Either way, this week on The Retro League podcast we're talking about a couple horror themed games of the 32-bit generation and one notoriously difficult spooky game on the NES. If you're all burned out on Halloween stuff that's cool because we also talk about stealing happy meal toys from your kids and review The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses concert.
It's time for some 16-bit horror on this week's episode of The Retro League podcast. We aren't sure what's scarier - battling giant undead dragons or the acting in most Sega CD games. We also look back at the birth (and death) of SNK and share a little good news for fans of classic Mac games.
The last thing that you remember is standing before the wizard Lakmir as he waved his hands.
