Share market started 2016 badly - the issue is China: Dow and S&P both +1.0%, FTSE -0.7%, DAX -1.3%.
Another positive night: FTSE +2.6%, DAX +2.3%, Dow +1.1%, S&P +1.2%; the Aus futures index suggests a rise at open of 1%.

US October's factory orders +1.5% over the month, a welcome result on the back of weak August and September readings.
US private payroll processor ADP reports 217,000 jobs created in November; October amended up to a 196,000 print.
US Ism manufacturing index for November came in 48.6%, the first sub-50 contractionary reading in three years.
US NAHB's pending home sales release saw an anaemic +0.2% gain.
Not a lot happened - FTSE -0.3%, DAX -0.2%, Dow -0.1%, S&P +0.1%; Aus market set up for a flat opening.
Europe was strong - FTSE +1.0%, DAX +2.1%; US was close to flat - Dow +0.1% S&P -0.1%.
FTSE -0.5%, DAX -0.25%, Dow -0.2% and S&P -0.1%; Chicago Fed National Activity Index still below zero.
