I have been writing a book about Shrewsbury and I thought I would read a section from it - also we find out more about the legendary Bobby Brewster and a little of the adventurers of Snug and Cozi.

Do you still write letters, make notes or keep a diary? Do you write things by hand. I am curious in today's Vobes Show or are you digital through and through?

It is the weekend special with Richard Vobes and today I have as a guest from 'down under' the lovely Lloyd Bayley. We are talk about films, cooking and solar energy, so join us in the debate and have a laugh or two as well.

Its another beer show with Richard and Jimmy and tonight we are tasting a number of old favourites, but the question is, are they as good as they once were? Jimmy talks about his book and we see if we can find a job for the poor unemployed chap.

The AA have made suggestions that young drivers, who are more pront to have accidents, should spend longer completing their tests. I have a few suggestions of my own. Also, I watched a drama about Kenny Everett last night, my thoughts on that and a few other things besides.

I am back from the BBC and I have an idea for a possible TV show to sell to the channel. I am also looking at the news ideas and reacting to them in my usual crazy way. Hope you enjoy the nonsense.

I am flying solo in the beach hut this evening and discovered that the door has got a bit rotten. But if you want to have a baby make sure you have a grapefruit, at least that is what it says in the news. I am sifting for the fun stories and giving you the Vobes opinion, just as in the old days. Its been a while, but if you like the show and comment, I might continue with some more.. Its all in your hands...

Richard and Jimmy continue their exploration of Brighton on this sunny Saturday in August. They pop down to the seaside, the pier and beach to view the crowds and amusements.
