He is also an internationally-recognized speaker with over 80 presentations and publications under his belt. Most recently, he published Cosmetic Breast Surgery, a seminal textbook on contemporary aesthetic breast surgical techniques. Originally from the Northeast, Dr. Basu likes to say he “got to Texas as fast as he could.” He fell in love with the area while completing his plastic surgery fellowship at the prestigious Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in the Texas Medical Center.
