Since we launched the “Foundation for Arabic Music Archiving and Research”, our first priority has been to spread the rare musical heritage in our possession. Since 2009, we have decided to resort to the periodic publishing of CDs. We have started this as we have also decided to produce and to conduct a research for broadcast programs on the Internet drawn from our archives. These broadcast programs remained projects until our foundation reached an agreement with the Sharjah Art Foundation to work in partnership in order to conduct the execution of this project. This is how our broadcast will start, with two weekly programs, throughout the year, uploaded simultaneously on the Sharjah Art Foundation’s and our Foundation’s web sites. Each program will be 30 minutes to 45 minutes long and will be available to all as every person can listen to the programs or download them on his personal computer. It is also possible to read the programs in Arabic or their English translation. The subjects are defined and use the treasures of our archives, treating every subject as required. The Jazz Suite is a podcast that is solely focused on jazz, all types of jazz for classic jazz to experimental jazz. If the music can be considered jazz then you could hear it on The Jazz Suite this podcast is especially devoted to Independent and Indie jazz artists. God blessed me to create this podcast and I do my best to follow what God has planned for me. If you look in the vast see of music that is on the net and what record companies are doing with there music departments you see that the outlet or window for different music other than what can sell right now and what is hot! Is closing fast and The Jazz Suite hopes to keep that from happening now some one might say we have smooth Jazz stations and they have there place. I just wish to hear what my mother played on the stereo Sunday Mornings which gave me a peace that only God can give. Now back to the purpose of the podcast Jazz is the one music segment that is not fully represented on the internet enough so instead of complaining I was blessed to create change in this ever changing world of music.
