Episode 66 – Angela Walters Craftsy class review

The Pioneer Quilter show

Summary: I finished quilting the Cloverleaf Quilt!  Check out some sneak peaks. This is the back: And then I started playing with the camera a bit...and found I could make these neat tiled pics.  So here is another shot(s) of the back: And then this is a another playful shot, this time of the front: Sometimes I wonder about my color choices.  I happen to love bright pink and that peacock blue together.  Do you have a favorite color combination that doesn't seem popular? Don't forget to visit a local quilt shop on January 24th for Quilt Shop Day!  It turns out my local quilt shop is involved.  Yay!  Check the site to see if there is a shop in your area. This episode mostly centered around Craftsy and Angela Walters' class, Machine Quilting Negative Space.  I recently completed her course.  The quilt that I made for my friend's daughter was quilted with some of Angela's designs.  There are lots of classes to take on the site including classes covering knitting, cake decorating, apparel sewing, and even cheese making.  There are a few free classes scattered around the site so if you are unsure of the format there is a try-before-you-buy opportunity. You can click here to listen to (or download, if you right-click and choose ‘save as’) the show. Don’t forget to leave me a comment and say hi. Thank you for listening and have a great day!
