Kader's Soulful/Deep/Afro House Podcast (Live Mixes) show

Summary: So here’s how I was feeling on New Years Day… a mixture of feelings and vibez in here, this one is purely personal. New Years Eve didn’t end up being quite what I had hoped it would be, but it was nice all the same. I eased my way gently into the New Year really, nothing crazy, nothing excessive, so lets see if that makes a difference shall we. I had a different plan for this mix… it was going to be a deep tech adventure with some diverse off center beats, but I can't seem to settle on the intro track, usually by biggest issue to be honest. I had started a folder of chunage that I considered my personal little stash of oddities or vocals that actually mean something to me, or just percussive madness, and I glanced at it real quick on New Years Day and thought… eh??? This might actually work. So… I went in, and I kinda like it. It was perfect for the day, and the mood I was in. I sat back on the balcony, and smoked my last cigarette to this one! Usually I pre the mixes for a week or two before I post them, but because the bandwidth had already opened up, I rushed it in and I’m kinda regretting that now. I did pre the transitions only to make sure they sounded ok, but didn’t listen to the full mix until later… and there seems to be spots where the volume drops low enough for it to be a pain in the arse, and distracting. I swear I didn’t do that intentionally, and really didn’t notice anything while the mix was in progress, but there you have it… my sincerest apologies, maybe I’ll redo and repost this weekend, if the bandwidth allows… Having said all that, here’s the tracklisting: 1. At One feat Wyoma – African Healing Dance (Original Mix) 2. DJ Kent feat. Zaki Ibrahim – Sunrise (Culoe De Song Remix) 3. Kenny Dope – Buggin On Percussion 4. Luis Radio – The Timtrack (Bump Mix) 5. Timmy Regisford – Tim’s Groove (Original Version) 6. Marlon D feat - Ultra Nate – God’s Message (Marlon D’s Underground Collective Mix) 7. Maurice Joshua – Where my People At (Maurice’s Rev Anthem) 8. Oscar P & C. Scott: The Message (NYC Philly Tribute Mix) 9. DJ Roland Clark, Urban Soul – Until We Meet Again (Sean McCabe Remix) 10. DJ Beloved, Stephanie Cooke – Stay (Jihad’s Bang The Drum Vocal) 11. Mayu – Stretch My Arms (Mr. V’s Dub) 12. Jazzmatik, Boddhi Satva, Missum – And Other Worlds (Boddhi Satva Ancestral Soul Remix) 13. Rachael Row – Follow the Step (Original Mix) I’m sure the podcaster know this, but for the avid dedicated listeners out there who come back time and time again to download and enjoy our mixes, understand this… the rankings are driven mostly by the Play stat… and a play is when someone listens to more than 10% of the mix, anything less is considered a Skip. While I get awesome downloads, I get very little plays… and I understand why… you guys know the mixes are gonna be decent enough so just go straight to the DL!!!, I’m cool with that, but every now and then…. let the thing go on for a bit will ya!!! Blessed Love my people… Happy New Year, health, wealth and stealth to you all. K My obvious favorite woud have to be AtOne/Wyoma’s African healing Dance, and then Rachael of course… sweat nectar of Love.
