Summary: On May 1st your humble host found it necessary to drive to the "Big City" here in the State of Oregon where he lives. In honor of the "May Day" protests advocating more central control of our daily lives Chip took time to stop by and visit a Mormon Cannery there where both members and non-members of the LDS church are provided the opportunity to increase their long-term storage, and indirectly their self-reliance capabilities.
