Summary: This week on the ID Project podcast, ID Project Associate Director Patrick Groneman continues his discussion with Andy Karr on the dynamics of contemplative photography. The is the second of a two part interview. Andy Karr is a writer, photographer, longtime meditator, and Buddhist teacher. He trained intensively with two of the great founding teachers of Western Buddhism: Shunryu Suzuki Roshi , and Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche. He has also been a Miksang student, and contemplative photographer since the late 1990s. He is the author of Contemplating Reality, a series of investigations into the nature of mind and the phenomenal world, that was published by Shambhala in 2007. Andy is also the co-author of The Practice of Contemplative Photography - Seeng the World with Fresh Eyes, due for release by Shambhala Pulications in April 2011.
