Summary: In the conclusion of the Lost two-part series opener, after escaping the "Monster" Jack, Kate and Charlie make it back to the beach with the transceiver and a group of the Oceanic Flight 815 survivors, led by Sayid and Kate, travel to higher ground with it so they can transmit a signal. However, what they discover is the last thing they thought they'd encounter on this isolated Island - a mysterious transmission. Meanwhile, back at camp, Jack tends to a wounded man who reveals a secret about one of their fellow survivors.
