VBL006 – Online Marketing and Outsourcing Life, with Tyrone Shum!

Virtual Business Lifestyle - Online Business, Start-Up, Entrepreneurship, Lifestyle Design and Outsourcing Advice show

Summary: (http://www.virtualbusinesslifestyle.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/tyroneshum.jpg) A while back I was lucky enough to stumble over a comment that Australian entrepreneur, Tyrone Shum left on my Facebook page. I visited his blog, TyroneShum.com, and since then we have spoken a couple of times on the phone, and he also interviewed me via video for his blog last week. Tyrone has carved out quite a nice following in the online world, I believe mainly because of his excellent content and easy going approach to marketing online. We sat down for the latest edition of the VBL Podcast after talking on Skype for almost an hour, and so were already pretty warmed-up, as they say. What ensued was a very loose, and enjoyable conversation which started with me being concerned that I'd be caught picking my nose on camera (he was filming it for his subscribers!) and ended with a multitude of subjects being covered. In the audio you will hear us discuss, among other things: * How Tyrone sold his 'brick and mortar' business to go online, full-time. * The strategies he uses to be able to make $10,000 a month from his online businesses. * His excellent MassOutsource program, which is very popular. * The importance of working hard, but balancing family time. * And much more! Myself and Tyrone hit it off immediately and its clear to see that the two of us have very similar thought processes on many different aspects of life and business. As someone who currently utilizes working with Philippines based virtual assistants, Tyrone is someone that anyone looking at outsourcing life in anyway, should check out for great tips and info. I've asked Tyrone to pop by the blog when he gets a chance, so please feel free to leave any messages and comments below for him. As always, thank you for the continued support of these podcasts and I hope to be able to bring more to you soon - be sure to subscribe (http://feeds.feedburner.com/virtualbusinesslifestyle/feed) to get the latest updates on them!
