Acceptance VS Real: Do women fight harder for acceptance?

Grown Soul and Real Talk show

Summary: GSRT Wednesday Night Live Forum.  Is it true that a woman fight harder for acceptance from men and other women (i.e weaves, nails, implants etc.) than they would to just be real? Who are women looking for acceptance from when they get weaves, eyelashes, implants etc? "What is being REAL?"  Can the woman with fake eyelashes, nails etc demand that a man be REAL with her? A guy just told me if a woman steps to him with a weave and fake nails, she has no right to ask that he 'keep it real' with her. Does being real have limits and conditions?  My wife likes fashion. I like style. Recently she has been into these long semi-permanent eyelashes. I let it go at first. Then I expressed to her how I wasn't feeling the look. She said she liked them and wanted to keep them. Then she got them again and I asked why do you keep getting them when you know I don't like them? She still just said because she liked them. Then she got them a third time and I said those things are cheap and they make you look cheap. She lost it telling me how mean I was. But she had three opportunites to stop wearing these dumb eyelashes. What is the problem? So she finally stopped wearing them and I complimented her about how beautiful she looked. She gave me a dirty look. WTF. If your aim is not to please me, your husband, who the f**k are you trying to please, some dude that complimented you or some woman that has enough sense to not wear them herself? Am I wrong?
