Summary: Oxford University UK hosting the Quran Competition: Oxford University in the UK hosted national Quran recitation competition in June .The competition was organized by Federation of Student Islamic Societies (FOSIS) which was established in 1962, the FOSIS caters for the needs of Muslim students in further and higher education across the UK and Ireland. The contest, which is slated to be held on the sidelines of FOSIS annual conference, is open to all Muslims students studying in British higher education centers. Quran Online is a place for gaining information about the knowledge of the Quran and being able to read and learn Quran using the Internet.   More than 10 Countries Hosted 10 Quran Exhibitions: The secretariat of the Higher Cultural Council of Iran ( Astan-e Qods) said that  the exhibitions held in the countries of Philippines, Tunisia, Bangladesh, Tanzania, Pakistan, UAE, Kenya, Indonesia ,India and the Republic of Azerbaijan and  welcomed a large number of Muslims throughout the world to attend the exhibitions in these countries. These exhibitions held in cooperation with Islamic Culture and Relations Organization. Among all these exhibitions there are programs which holding Quranic meetings, important specialized sessions on Quranic concepts, Universal and scientific workshops for Quran memorization and recitation and lastly presenting Quranic software products. Quran Online is a library for Quranic and Islamic teachings available on the internet for learning Quran via Internet.   Quran Ceremony at Somalia: A ceremony was held in January in Somalia’s northern city of Hargeisa to honor winners of the Quran memorization competition, according to the website of the World Quran Memorization Association (WQMA). The ceremony was attended by Somalia’s grand Mufti Muhammad Umar Durrar, Quranic and Islamic figures and representative of the WQMA Khizr Muhammad Hussein Addam. The competition head been organized by the association with the aim of promoting Quran memorization in the region. 30 memorizers of the Quran took part in the competition.
