Summary: Welcome to episode 18 of the podcast Dropping The Needle, September 17, 2012. This episode we discuss ZZ Top La Futura a Great Album and I Feell Ripped Off. Mitch Lafon and I discuss the brand new release from ZZ Top, La Futura. How it is a GREAT album, but at the same it feels like a rip off. After buying the four song EP, the full album only contains 10 songs, including the four songs on the EP. Are the fans who bought the EP being ripped off by being made to buy 40% of the album a second time? Shortly after recording this episode we learned that ZZ Top is releasing a Best Buy exclusive release with two bonus tracks. So should fans then be expected to buy those four songs a third time just to get two bonus tracks? Of are actions like this what drives you to steal music?
