Summary: Kelly Kulchak is the definition of a Hollywood producer, smart, determined, and energetic. Listen as she talks about working on shows like the X-Files, Malcolm in the Middle, The Simpsons, In Living Color, and now producing USA Network’s longest running show, Psych. Kulchak joined Tagline Pictures in 2004 where she serves as president and partner. A graduate of the University of Southern California’s Film and Television School, Kulchak began her career at Brillstein-Grey Television as a story editor working on “It’s Garry Shandling’s Show” and “Molly Dodd.” She then moved to Fox Broadcasting Company as an executive where she oversaw numerous shows including, “The Simpsons,” “In Living Color” and “The X-Files.” In 1994, Kulchak reunited with former Fox Broadcasting CEO Jamie Kellner, at The WB network as head of current programming where she was involved with several of the fledgling net’s hit series including, “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” and “Dawson’s Creek.” In 1997, Kulchak jumped to feature films, joining James L. Brook’s company Gracie Films as vice president of development, where she worked on the Oscar nominated film, “As Good as It Gets.” Kulchak then returned to Fox Broadcasting in 1998 as senior vice president of comedy development. During her second stint at Fox, Kulchak was instrumental in the development of a number of hit series including “Malcolm in the Middle,” “Grounded for Life,” “The Tick” and the critically acclaimed “Action.” In 2001, Kulchak joined Worldwide Pants, where she worked on “Ed” and “Everybody Loves Raymond.” There, she developed the company’s first feature film, “Strangers With Candy” which was accepted to the Sundance Film Festival in 2005. Kulchak lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
