Summary: Ronnie tells the story of how he was legally blind as a kid and his Mom was so determined to find a cure for her son that she quit her job and moved out to Iowa to a chiropractic school. In addition to Ronnie's eyesight returning, his mother became a chiropractor. Ronnie is a writer who has published two children's books, Lillie and Peggy, and The Unexpected Day and Trust. He now hosts a radio program on the Portsmouth community radio station called Don't Dis My Ability. He also made a film about suicide among the disability community called Just One More Day. Ronnie is also a poet and he shares some of his poetry in the interview.
