Summary: In this episode I go over how to enter bills from vendors into QuickBooks. It doesn't matter if you keep your books on the cash or accrual method of accounting, you can still use QuickBooks to manage, track and pay those bills. Once you enter a bill into the QuickBooks system you can then keep the bill in a file folder until it's ready to be paid. Everything in that folder should match up to an entry on the Accounts Payable list at any given time. It's a great system that can really help you get organized and pay your bills on time. If you can take advantage of early payment discounts it really pays off!
