The Natural Running Network Live show

Summary: An interview with the producers of UltrArabia a one-of-a-kind race, one never before attempted, across a vast expanse of desert in the Empty Quarter of western Oman. This will be an exclusive opportunity for some of the world's best ultra runners, stage runners and distance runners to experience a race in the Arabia and the Empty Quarter or the Rub al Khali as it is known in Arabic. The route will take runners through an unforgiving but breathtaking section of this infamous desert known as the "sea of sand" and across an ancient land steeped in mystery. This will be a 7 day stage race covering a distance of 300k. Rub Al-Khali is the largest sand desert in the world, made up of vast areas of continous and connected sand dunes. It is also one of the driest and widely acclaimed as the most beautiful and stunning of sand dune deserts. Temperatures in November are the mildest of the year and the nights are perfect for sleeping comfortably out under the stars. Desert camps among new friends will be a highlight of this race. UltrArabia is bound to test your limits physically and mentally but the rewards of spending time crossing the Oman section of Rub al Khali will be incalculable.
