She looks smashing. o She bumps into Harmony and the girls. o They introduce her to Anya. o Willow catches up to Oz at his locker. o She wants to talk but he wants space and can’t help feeling like she is more concerned with making herself feel better than what he needs. o Something about a hammer, nail and hitting it on the head. Point Oz. o Anya catches up to Cordelia in the halls and expresses sympathy for her and her Xander situation. o Cordelia and Anya hit it off right away. o That night at the Bronze, Xander, Willow and Buffy all put on brave faces but their gloom overcomes them quickly. o Xander watches Cordelia having a grand time with her friends. o Willow is hyper-sensitive about Xander’s proximity as she is determined to show Oz she is over him. o Outside the bronze, Buffy reaches out to Cordelia to express her sympathy. A vampire attacks and Buffy has to throw Cordelia into a pile of garbage to save her. o The next day at school Cordelia is talking to Anya about Buffy and how her arrival in Sunnydale is when all her problems started. o Cordelia ‘wishes’ that Buffy had never come to Sunnydale. o In that moment, Anya is revealed to be a vengeance demon who makes Cordelia’s wish a reality. o Sunnydale High is now sparsely populated with all the students wearing dark, drab clothing. o Cordelia finds out that she is once again the queen of Sunnydale high but there are some downsides: namely, curfew, monthly memorials and the bronze is a nest of tons of vampires. Including Xander and Willow. o Cordelia quickly realizes that this Sunnydale is not one that she wants to be queen of. o Walking home from school she is confronted by a now vampiric Xander and Willow. o She tells them to find Buffy that she can fix things. o Turns out that even in this Bizarro reality, Cordelia finds Xander and Willow lovey-dovey-vampires. o Willow is “bored now” and wants to kill Cordelia. o The White Hats show up led by Oz and Giles and Larry. o They grab Cordelia and wisk her to the safety of the library. o Cordelia tells Giles that they have to find Buffy, he’s her watcher he should know where she is. o Giles is dumbfounded that Cordelia knows about any of that.
