Summary: Four years ago Goucher College thought it was striking a blow for academic freedom by hiring a professor so controversial he couldn't return to his native Rwanda. But, confronted with charges that he had taken part in the genocide there in 1994, the college dropped him. Now, Goucher's president has published an essay in New York Magazine exploring what happened and why. Today, we talk to Goucher College President Sanford Ungar.
