Modcast #95: Memory Tapes

Summary: This week's Modcast is a little different from usual. Dayve Hawk, otherwise known as Memory Tapes, has lovingly created a 23-minute mix of all new, all original Memory Tapes music. Here's what the man himself had to say about the mix, titled 'Slaughtered'. "I find I listen to mixtapes more than albums a lot of the time, so I wanted to make a new record in the form of a mixtape instead of a single or EP etc. It's all new, original Memory Tapes stuff just put together in the form of an extended mix. I thought the Modcast would be a cool way to make it available to people quickly and for free." Player Piano, Memory Tapes' second studio album, is out now on Something In Construction in Australia/NZ and Carpark everywhere else.
