Summary: This is an interview I did with the founder of the BBQ Guru, Fred Pirkle, back in 2005. I had only done 3 shows at this point...everything was pre-recorded and, to be honest, I was not a very good host at this time. Fred was a great guest and made the interview so easy for me! He was a true BBQ legend and a visionary. He will be missed by many in the BBQ and Grilling communiity! Fred passed away on 3/9/2012 from ALS...Rest well my friend and God's speed!
