Cheryl Johnson was born and raised in Los Angeles. Affectionately known as CJ, she lived in the city for over 40 years and left the corporate world and a 13 year career in Technology to reclaim her life. She moved to Palm Springs to live in the desert and simplify her life only to experience the crash and burn of 2008, the loss of her home, and serious health issues from a sedentary lifestyle and office job. Finally, CJ went to Maui for a long overdue vacation. During that short week she felt compelled to be in Maui. She returned home, sold everything she owned, and within 60 days was back on Maui to start a new life. Her radio show, “From Maui with Aloha”, is dedicated to inspiring and empowering others who are faced with changing their lives or starting over. Every week her program shares the stories of others in the hope of inspiring people to ‘Step Outside the Box' of their comfort zone and follow their dreams. CJ is a Transformational Consultant. Drawn from her experiences and 30 years of studying personal development, she has recently completed a mentor program specifically designed for baby boomers and empty nesters that will be available in April of 2011. Since her arrival on Maui, CJ has not only reclaimed her life but her health as well. She is currently writing her book of memoirs about her journey to Maui entitled, "Feed Your Spirit."
