Against the Odds: Helping Women Step into Their Shine

Summary: The Women's Bean Project in Denver hires women with multiple barriers to employment that include histories of substance misuse, former incarceration, histories of domestic violence, and homelessness. This non-profit provides a safe and accepting work environment where women can earn a paycheck while addressing the issues that have prevented them from getting and keeping a job.
