Summary: While we go through all of the letters trying to help out as many folks as we can with Hope For The Holidays, every once in a while something else pops up that needs our attention. Such is the case with PawsAbilities, a nonprofit in Olathe that helps those with disabilities enter the workforce. Over the weekend, a car accidentally drove through the front of their facility causing a lot of damage...follow the link to find out more on the story: https://www.kshb.com/news/local-news/pawsabilities-nonprofit-works-to-build-back-after-car-crashes-through-storefront So after talking to their director, Debbie Horn, and finding out they're losing $1000 a day by not being open, we put the call about and between listeners Emily and Terry, as well as our friend Pinball Jeff, his wife Kathy and their kids Max & Maddie, AND the fine folks at Alexander & Ray's TV and Appliance, we raised $3000 to help them out in minutes!! Not only that, Cosentino's gave the $500 for food to help them celebrate the holidays!
