Summary: 'Tis the season. I love this Christmas tune, but so few people I play with know it at all, so I thought I put it up here. I learned this tune as a lovely-sweet-quaint tune, but have been surprised more recently to hear other fiddlers (on YouTube) doing it with a stern "march" beat. Nevertheless, I like it sweet & easy. This tune is from the Shetland Islands which I learned in the course of fiddle lessons, and is "very old."
