Summary: Freedomain Livestream 19 May 2023...

What's your opinion on the whole sigma, alpha, beta personality types?

Hey Stef,
After listening to your most recent call in with the guy who felt guilty for leaving his parents, I've begun thinking about how I too have an attachment issue and have since moved on from applying it to my parents and applying it to a former manager at work.
I had a recently minor negative interaction with them and caused a fair deal of emotional distress.
How do I remove this attachment? Thank you if you read this.

My mom calls you the guy who always complains

Had told father about starting a business and he immediately gave a bunch of reason why it would fail etc.

Bravo Stef, this is some truly life changing material. Thanks man

How do you redeem yourself from not living a life of virtue in the past?

I don't believe for a moment that someone who sabotages has any capacity for happiness. And simply enjoys killing others happiness.

Why is the spanking, being dominated, told what to do kink such a red flag?

What should I do to make long distance relationship work? I decided to start this relationship because of your speech about casting wider net and not complaining that one can’t find valuable person. We are both 50yo. She was in therapy after break up. I had break up after 16 years. No children involved. I had three years of cool down time. I listen to Freedomain since 2015. It has changed me

Please talk more about The False Self. I've been trying to educate people on that. Thank you.

Hey Stef what do you recommend reading first of your novels?

I know some good men who got rekt in divorce court etc. Is that their fault?

Having a bad conscience sounds like Dante's Inferno.

this is a powerful stream whoa

I have been in the habit of rejecting dreams and have felt strongly annoyed when people would ask about them. As a child, my mother would take dreams extremely seriously. She would get each of us kids dream journals and dream analysis books, would ask every morning about what we dreamed about. She is the kind of person who would have a dream that my dad was cheating on her, and then in real life would punish him for it. So as an adult, I outright dismissed dreams, swinging to the other extreme to offset my mom. As I've listened to you over the years, I have taken more interest in what I can learn from them.
Last night I had a dream where my mother was being difficult as I confronted her about something, and then she pushed me down the stairs while I was turned away from her.
I'm not asking for a dream analysis, but how can I learn from my dreams? Do you write your dreams down? And how can I better appreciate them?

The end of your novel The Present was perfect!
