Summary: The New York Yankees beat the Toronto Blue Jays 7-4 in the opener of a four-game set. And speaking of openers, the Yankees used one on Monday night! Jimmy Cordero who opened for Johnny Brito, Cordero pitched two perfect innings and Brito pitched five and ont-third innings before running into trouble in the eighth inning but that was partly because of a Gleyber Torres error. On the offensive side Aaron Judge had a big night and we discuss that. Is he back? It sure does seem like it. The Yankees offense had a good night against Blue Jays starter Alek Manoah who issued a career-high seven walks in his four innings of work.
