Summary: <p><b><span>Original Air Date: April 25, 2023</span></b></p> <p><span>Only days after passing a measure that could dismantle Diversity Equity and Inclusion programs at public universities and colleges, the Texas State Senate passed a bill that would ban tenure offers to new professors at public colleges and universities in Texas.</span></p> <p><span>The measure has been opposed by professors across the state who say that this is an attack on academic freedom.
