Summary: <p><strong>“Every million is a million worth of impact” - </strong><a href="//instagram.com/laurentickner" target="_blank"><strong>Lauren Tickner</strong></a><strong> (CEO of </strong><a href="//impact-school.com" target="_blank"><strong>Impact School</strong></a><strong>)</strong></p> <p>I had not planned to say these words as I gave a speech at The High Net Connect Awards which <a href="//impact-school.com" target="_blank"><strong>Impact School</strong></a> sponsored on 4th November.</p> <p>After speaking to thousands of people from their community, there’s a continued theme I noticed time and time again….</p> <p>Money may get you started. But it sure as heck won’t keep you going.</p> <p>And you won’t ever make a lot of money if what you do isn’t making a real impact.</p> <p>People buy thanks to the value you provide - so what can you do to be more valuable?</p> <p>Something I spend a LOT of time thinking about is the results that Impact School clients get for their own clients.</p> <p>We are on a mission to empower companies to deliver life-changing results globally, and make millions as a byproduct of that.</p> <p>This is really important to me, as CEO of <a href="//impact-school.com" target="_blank"><strong>Impact School</strong></a> - and to @noorvbarrage, as COO of Impact School…because both of our siblings had their freedom stripped away from them.</p> <p>My brother is 23 but his mental age is 2. He has epilepsy, autism, and has to be in a wheelchair and use a feeding tube.</p> <p>Noor’s sister @type101withghalia (and now a friend of mine) was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 17 which totally changed the way she could live and the things she can do.</p> <p>When Impact School gets a new client, we know we will not just help change that company forever. We will change the lives of all the clients of the company we serve - and all the people/businesses surrounding our clients’ clients.</p> <p>We began turning away clients who just want to make money who aren’t truly fantastic at what they do.
