With Dorothy’s death weighing heavily on both Jessica and Trish, a hospitalised Sallinger has other plans and sends proof of Trish's attack to Jessica. She is forced to choose between protecting Trish and ending Sallinger as he threatens to release a photo of the attack to the press unless Jones destroys all evidence of Nathan's death.<br> <br> <br> <br> To save Trish, a reluctant Jessica with the help of Erik, blackmails Officer Carl Nussbaumer (brilliantly played by <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1923750/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_t12" target="_blank">Larry Mitchell</a>) to help them destroy the evidence that would put Sallinger behind bars.
