Summary: The fiscal year deadline is about three full weeks away. The Biden administration has said a continuing resolution is all but inevitable. And it has a long list of extra items it wants to see Congress add to an upcoming CR. The big-ticket items would go to disaster relief funding and Afghanistan resettlement. But the Department of Veterans Affairs, Census Bureau and others would get some additional cash under the White House proposal too.
