Dave and his wife Penny took in the girl, Deirdre, and then another death in the family followed. Dave was convinced God was just an onlooker who didn’t care about the lives of humans. Then, after nursing a man back to health following a horrific accident, he saw that even as a doctor, he hadn’t changed the man’s life. This motivated him to seek God until he learned that God was the only one who had the power to bring true wholeness and healing to himself and his patients. He started praying for his patients, and saw the difference it made on many different levels.
