Popkast with Garima show

Summary:
We are all looking for hope in these bleak times. As we struggle to get up from our bed, keep ourselves motivated, and find positivity - Meet Anju Sen, who lost her legs to Polio and is now restarting her education at the age of 28 through the Second Chance Education Program by UN Women India.

Anju’s perseverance and strong willpower to be a financially independent woman precede her physical inabilities. Anju’s brother and father would take her in their arms and walk for 8kms to get her to school! She says and I quote - ‘main nahi samajhti mujhme koi kami hain. Mujhe sarkari naukri karni hain or kabhi bhi exam me fail nahi hona hain’. I vividly remember her beaming face as she spoke to me for half an hour! She rubbed off her energy on me. I hope when you tune in to this episode, you manifest the same hope and positivity. Hope for a better future, hope to dream, hope to believe in yourself, and hope to be an agent of change.

Popkast with Garima EmpowHER edition Season 3 is in support of UN Women Second Chance Education Program and Community Partner- SheThePeopleTV
