Summary: It’s Flashback Friday where we celebrate sporting heroes of years gone by and we highlighted the life of Lee Elder who made history when he became the first Black man to play at The Masters in 1975 and he was invited last Thursday as an Honorary Starter for this year’s Masters along with Jack Nicklaus and South African Gary Player We spoke to Chairman of the Board Trustees and Paine College Alumnus Michael Thurmond who has a long history with Lee Elder.
