Summary: We all have a Cross. 1 Corinthians 1:18 - 18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the POWER OF GOD 1 Corinthians 1:23-24 - we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, 24 but to those whom God has called… the power of God and the wisdom of God. Jesus doesn’t take away suffering, He ENTERS INTO IT + TRANSFORMS suffering! We judge God based on our experience – instead of believing in God who transforms the meaning of that experience. We need to stop judging God based on our own wisdom. Stop putting God on trial! Romans 8:18 18 I consider that the sufferings of this present time are as nothing compared with the glory to be revealed for us.
