And after 12 consecutive Pro Bowls, inductions into the Chiefs, College and NFL Hall of Fames, numerous All Pro honors...as well as beingĀ  chosen as the Walter Payton Man Of The Year in 2003. He retired in 2007...and with his Will To Succeed Foundation already up and running, he set about making a difference in and around KC...especially with the Midwest Innocence Project...working tirelessly to free those who have been wrongly imprisoned.
