128. Piggy Back

Music Crush Monday show

Summary: It is Monday and we all know the drill around here! A band is chosen, music is played, we discuss it, you listen, form your own opinions, and then reach out to us and let us know your thoughts. That is what happens right? Well, Kevin has picked the music this week and openly admits the first song is not what you think of when you hear this band. Tune in to check this one out. So this was not meant to piggyback on last week’s episode but there is a similar theme. What is interesting is Kevin was thinking about this band quite a bit and the impact they had on him but the impact the singer had on this world. Then hearing the story of the singer of Frightened Rabbit it just triggered that it was also time to share a band with a similar result. There needs to be a silver lining in the darkest of times and that is where the music helps. Even if the lyrics are sad when you zoom out and notice their situation, it still helps you cope or helps you get through your own issues. Let us know what bands or even specific songs have got you through the tougher times in life. Just always remember that you are not alone!
