[101] Authority in the Image of God

What Does the Word Say? show

Summary: God delegates authority to be used for the good of those under authority. All of us are under authority, usually in multiple ways. Properly exercising our delegated authority and properly functioning under authority are aspects of our being made in the image of God. Being a leader is hard work. Husbands are to be the prophet in their home, meaning that they are to bring the word of God to bear in every situation. Being in authority does not imply one person is better than another. Humans are given authority over the rest of creation. Man has both a body and a spirit, or soul. Monism is the atheistic view that man is purely material.

http://www.whatdoesthewordsay.org/podcast/101-authority-in-the-image-of-god/ ‎
