Matchday 1 of the Champions League is complete with very few surprises. Yesterday's action saw Zlatan Ibrahimovic grab a brace and end Milan's six game winless streak at home in the Champions League; Arsenal looked impressive, especially Cesc Fabregas, as they brushed aside Portuguese side Braga 6-0; Premier League Leaders and defending champions Chelsea went away to MSK Zilina and through a Man-of-the-Match performance from Nicolas Anelka, playing centrally in place of the suspended Didier Drogba, they were able to win comfortably 4-1; Jose Mourinho took charge of his first Champions League match in charge of Real Madrid and came away with a 2-0 win over Dutch side Ajax at the Bernabeau. Other results: Bayern Munich 2-0 Roma; CFR Cluj 2-1 FC Basel; Olympique de Marseilles 0-1 Spartak Moscow; Shaktar Donetsk 1-0 Partizan Belgrade. Steven and Kenny will give their complete thoughts on the first match day of the new Champions League season. After recording the biggest win in the first round of matches, we bring the Arseblogger to discuss his teams' performance last night and also discuss the domestic season his Gunners are having, and hope for. Michael Cox of zonalmarking.net, will join the boys to discuss the tactics used by the various managers during the opening round of fixtures in the Champions League. We welcome a new correspondent to the program, Leander Schaerlaeckens from ESPN Soccernet, to discuss his latest story. We welcome back Matthew Barker (Serie A correspondent) to discuss the Italian teams in the Champions League.
