The deity, Nila Devi or Adithi, is the creator of the world, and the third wife of Lord Vishnu. Sri Devi and Boo Devi are the other wives. Not many people know that Nila Devi is Vishnu’s wife. Supposedly, she was born as Radha, during Vishnu’s Krishna avatar. Nila Devi is a goddess who fulfills the desires of devotees, so this suktam can be chanted regularly for wish-fulfillment.
