Summary: As the younger generation plays a major role in shaping the future of the GEOINT community, the USGIF board of directors decided to create a USGIF Young Professionals seat on the Board of Directors, which is a one-year position. This Young Professional board member has full voting power within the board and exemplifies all the qualities of a future leader and represents GEOINT Young Professionals as a whole. USGIF is excited to announce that Alexander Martinez, a staff engineer at Lockheed Martin will be the very first Young Professionals board member.
