Summary: Since 2004, USGIF has donated $386,000 to promising students in the geospatial intelligence field in the form of academic scholarships. Last year the Foundation awarded $86,000 to 19 recipients and plans to award equal or greater amounts for the 2011 program. Today, we are speaking with one of the 2010 scholarship recipient Shadrock Roberts from the University of Georgia. On May 2, 2011, USGIF will be closing the application process for its 2011 scholarship program.
