Summary: In honor of April being sexual violence awareness month I am sharing my own story. It has taken me over 20 years to get to this point. The numbers of cases of documented sexual violence have been on the rise in the last decade and that's not even thinking about those that go unreported. Let's talk about and educate each other about this topic. What happened to me was terrible and I don't wish that on anyone. Let's stop it once and for all especially for generations followingÂ
