Summary: Robert was in a VP level role, earning great money and enjoying life and work. He was well known around his industry. He was great at what he did. Things were pretty good overall… Until they weren’t! Robert got laid off. No big deal right. A great opportunity to take some time and get a way. (Thanks soft landings and severance!) Except when it came time to go back to work: 8 months passed. Then 10, 12… 18 months passed and he’d had a few interviews but nothing had panned out.
