Summary: Amherst Railway Society Railroad Hobby Show is run by a community of people who share a fascination with railroads and can find it’s roots all the way back to the mid-1950s, when a small group of University of Massachusetts students and faculty shared a common interest in railroads. The Railroad Hobby Show occupies four buildings at the Eastern States Exposition, draws 25,000 people. John Sacerdote has been show director for over 15 years and is always excited to talk with us about the upcoming show.
