Summary: Jason McElhone is the CEO and Founder of Remote Sales, Inc. which aims to be the #1 remote job work website in the world. Jason’s career began back in 1992 after earning his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from St. Lawrence University. He got his Series 7 license and moved from New York to Fort Lauderdale at the ripe young age of 22. In Florida, he was hired as an entry-level stockbroker at a firm that was a sister company to the one from the Wolf of Wall Street movie. After about six weeks, Jason figured that he was in the wrong place to establish his career and moved on, having five-year stints at two other firms. Eventually, in 2000, he went into business for himself, trading his own money alongside the money of his clients. During the 2008 recession, like many, Jason lost everything and had to start over from square one. He worked in a factory for $9 per hour for six months before landing a position at MarketSource, Inc. At MarketSource, he worked his way up to Director of Inside Sales over a period of almost 12 years, during which time he built the Lead Generation Program from the ground up and helped to almost quadruple the business. He played an important role in helping MarketSource deliver $7B of revenue growth in 2018 alone. Now, Jason is venturing out on his own again, this time having over 25 years of inside sales and lead generation experience and over 1M cold calls under his belt.
