Legitimate fears, for example I do not want to touch a hot stove. </div> <div>There is really good fear. There is a lot of bad fear. </div> <div> </div> <div><strong>When you look at how you tell the difference between limiting beliefs and fear is it whether or not you have taken action or is deeper than that? </strong></div> <div> </div> <div>A lot of times limiting beliefs are preventing us from taking action. </div> <div> </div> <div>Surround yourself with people who will help you raise your standards. </div> <div> </div> <div><strong>How do you go about identifying a limiting belief? </strong></div> <div> </div> <div>A lot of times you can’t identify them on your own because you need someone to cover your blindspots. </div> <div> </div> <div><strong>Exercise: </strong></div> <ul> <li>Write down the beliefs you have. </li> <li>Circle the ones that are empowering.</li> <li>Identify how they are getting you to where you want to go. </li> <li>Then look at the disempowering beliefs and question them.</li> <li>Where did I develop these from?</li> <li>Who did I develop this from?</li> <li>How is this limiting me from getting to where I want to go?</li> <li>Was the person I learned this from worth modeling?</li> </ul> <div> </div> <div>Essentially you are creating doubt through your questions. </div> <div> </div> <div>If you associate enough pain to those beliefs you’ll change them. </div> <div> </div> <div>We focus on determines what we feel. </div> <div> </div> <div><strong>How do you prevent that limiting belief from creeping back into your thought space?</strong></div> <div> </div> <div>Create empowering beliefs.</div> <div> </div> <div>Affirmations are important and affirmations are only as important as the action that you take. </div> <div> </div> <div><strong>If people are going through this exercise on their own, how do they go through the process but also be sensitive to the fact that there is a lot of emotional weight behind and care for themselves in the process? </strong></div> <div> </div> <div>It depends on where you wan to go. </div> <div> </div> <div>Limiting beliefs are extremely general. </div> <div>Once you identify the limiting beliefs, pick them apart and create the doubt. </div> <div>Then ask how do I create empowering beliefs. </div> <div> </div> <div>We do things to avoid pain or gain pleasure. </div> <div> </div> <div>The next step is to take massive action. </div> <div>Reveal that fear is actually a feeling and not a fact. </div> <div> </div> <div>Take action a lot. </div> <div> </div> <div><strong>How do people know what their identity and mission are? </strong></div> <div> </div> <div>The thoughts you own about yourself is your identity. </div> <div> </div> <div>Identify limiting beliefs, turning that into empowering beliefs, which is then your identity, then taking massive action. </div> <div> </div> <div> <div> </div> <hr> <div><strong>Paypal: </strong></div> <div>paypal.me/stephdennis13 </div> <div> --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. <a href="https://anchor.fm/s/a1293a0/podcast/sponsor/acugkf/url/https%3A%2F%2Fanchor.fm%2Fapp">https://anchor.fm/app</a> --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/careertalk/message</div> </div>
