Summary: Mehran came to Canada from Bangladesh when he was 6 years old. His mother came with no money to a country where she didn't speak the language. From the beginning, Mehran's mother was incapable of taking care of him, so Mehran was placed in foster care. Unfortunately, he had a hard time adapting and he was constantly transferred from one foster care family to another one and from one group home to the other. Mahran stopped going to school at age 14. He started using drugs and he also joined a gang.
