And if creepy secret passageways and slides that shoot you from the roof to 24 feet underground aren’t enough to lure you in, there are always the real ghosts…..<br> While you’re in town, stop by the Timber Lake Playhouse and grab a seat for their current stage production of Howard Ashman’s Little Shop of Horrors. Opened in 1962, they are the oldest semiprofessional summer stock theater company in Illinois.<br> Where do the hair impaired in Mount Carroll go to grab a quick bite to eat? To the BaldGuyz Coffee and Bistro, of course! Monster cheese burgers, Italian sodas and cinnamon bun frappes will leave you drooling on Granny’s apron. Tell her we said hi!
